Show Pride In Your Neighborhood – Become A Castro Ambassador.

The Castro Community Benefits District (CBD) seeks volunteers for their 2014 Castro Ambassador program. Castro Ambassadors volunteer to provide a friendly and hospitable impression of the Castro by directing pedestrians to civic, shopping and business destinations. Volunteer Ambassadors are equipped with training, uniforms, maps and other tools to help them talk to tourists and direct them to places of interest. Ambassadors receive ongoing support from a team coordinator.

Castro CBD Ambassador

The Castro Ambassadors program primarily operates on weekends, but is designed to be flexible meeting the needs of the individual volunteers and tourists. If you are interested in becoming a Castro Ambassador or if you have any questions about this program please contact the CBD by submitting your name and contact information by email to Andrea Aiello, Executive Director at execdirector@castrocbd.org or call 415-500-1181.

Castro Community On Patrol fully supports the CBD Castro Ambassador program, and indeed we’d encourage cross training and volunteering between the CBC Ambassadors and our own CCOP Patrol Volunteers.

Can there ever be “too many” ways to give back to the community?
