Castro Community On Patrol was honored with the presentation of the San Francisco Neighborhood Empowerment Network (NEN) “Outstanding Neighborhood Watch Group” award at San Francisco City Hall along with many other neighborhood groups and recipients who were recognized for other community work and good deeds. In addition to the NEN recognition, CCOP received accolades from the U.S. Congress, the California Senate, the California Assembly, the Mayor of San Francisco and the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
