SFPD Seek Your Help In “Missing Person at Risk” Case

San Francisco Police Department are seeking the assistance of the public in locating a missing person who is at risk, and also in identifying and locating a person of interest related to the case.

Missing Person Paulo Netto Case 130921443 11042013

Paulo Netto was visiting San Francisco  from Los Angeles.  On 10/28/2013 at approximately 11:00pm, Paulo called his sister in Brazil and advised he was in trouble, that people were following him, and he asked his sister to call the police on his behalf.  Mr. Netto was believe to be on Shotwell Street between 18th Street and 19th Street at the time of the telephone call.  Police searched the area but were unable to locate Mr. Netto, however his cell phone was discovered on Shotwell Street. Mr. Netto regularly checked in with his family in Brazil by phone every couple of days, but his family have not heard from his since that last phone call.

SFPD have issued the picture of a “person of interest” in the case, exiting the McDonalds restaurant at 16th Street and Mission Street.

If you ANY information at all regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Netto, or if you can identify or help police locate the person of interest, please call San Francisco Police Department.

ANY detail, no matter how small or insignificant could lead to the safe return of Mr. Netto, which is what we all hope for.
