In an article in the Bay Area Reporter by our colleague, Seth Hemmelgarn, it is reported that two suspects have been held for trial in the case of the aggravated assault and robbery on Market Street in which one cowardly suspect kicked a female victim in the head when she was on the ground in the early hours of June 30.  Unfortunately the suspect who kicked the victim has not been identified or arrested at this time, but Johnay Davis and Julian Willams, both of Oakland, are in custody awaiting trial.

As part of a group that is suspected of committing numerous strongarm robberies and assaults in the early hours of Sunday June 30, on the Market Street corridor between Castro Street and the Civic Center, police are seeking any additional victims or witnesses who may have observed the suspects or may have suffered as a result of the suspects.

At this time the two defendants have apparently not provided any information regarding the third outstanding suspect, pictured below.
