It is with great sadness that we note the untimely passing of Sister Barbi Mitzvah of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.  Sister Barbi “passed through the veil and joined the Nuns of the above,” as noted on the Sisters web site on February 23rd.

Sister Barbi started with the Sisters here in San Francisco and contributed immeasurably to the entire community for many countless years before moving within the last few years to Portland, Oregan where she joined the Sisters order there.  CCOP was proud and honored to have known and worked with Sisters Barbi on numerous Pink Saturday and other community events.  We enjoyed her passion, her commitment, her raucous wit and her dedication to the vocation she had taken up with so much energy.
